Peggi Hazlett

Peggi Hazlett has over a decade of experience in public administration.  Her expertise and interest has included a wide range of fields from business owner, consultant, public relations, event planner, school administrator, and educator. 

Her position as the Assistant to the Mayor began under former San Bernardino Mayor

Judith Valles and has continued into the current Administration under Mayor Patrick J. Morris.

 Peggi’s career highlights include implementing the City of San Bernardino’s Environmental Education Program in local schools and businesses.  Her role as an Assistant to the Mayor allows for a vast amount of latitude in projects and community programs. 

Peggi sits on many boards and commissions her favorites being the St. Bernardine’s Community Benefit Committee dealing with local non-profits and the San Bernardino Convention & Visitor Bureau on the executive board and marketing committee for the California Welcome Center.

A former school administrator and educator, Peggi is a passionate advocate for children and the elderly population in her community.  An only parent with two younger children and two adult daughters, Peggi’s personal time is devoted fully to family.
